Elephant Butte Overnight Trip September 22-23

It’s time for our annual trip to Elephant Butte lake! We will have access to a lodge, a pavilion, and five pontoon boats. The fun will start with a dance on Friday, September 22nd, at 7pm with a dance (though you can arrive earlier if you'd like). The next morning we'll have breakfast, and then be out on the lake by 10am. Men will be sleeping in tents so please bring a sleeping bag, or whatever else you need for sleeping. Women will be staying in cabins. Bring any supplies you need including sunscreen, towels, and swimsuits.

Directions From Albuquerque (North of Elephant Butte):
Take I-25 S (141 mi)
Take exit 83 toward NM-181 S/NM-52 S (0.2 mi)
Turn left at NM-181 S/NM-52 S (0.4 mi)
Take the 1st left onto NM-195 S (4.1 mi)
Turn left at Entrance to Elephant Butte Lake State Park (121 ft.)
From Las Cruces (South of Elephant Butte):
Head northwest toward I-25 N (404 ft.)
Merge onto I-25 N (68.5 mi)
Take exit 75 toward I-25/Williamsburg/Truth or Consequences (0.4 mi)
Merge onto Broadway (3.1 mi)
Continue onto N Date St. (0.2 mi)
Turn right at E 3rd Ave (2.5 mi)
Turn left at NM-179 N (2.1 mi)
Turn left at Lakeshore Rd./NM-195 N (0.3 mi)
Enter the main Elephant Butte Lake State Park Entrance
